Description
House La Volta
a unique historic house in an ancient vilage
House La Volta is in the village old centre, right where the “Sa Carrela e Nanti”, the famous equestrian event of the Santu Lussurgiu carnival, starts.
It is a very characteristic house on three levels consisting of two real estate units that are joined on the upper floor by a vault that crosses a back alley.
This 135 sqm house comprises a kitchen, five rooms, a bathroom and a cellar.
Some important carved stone cornices, and some wrought iron railings are also interesting.
A stone structure is characteristic for houses of this area. The wooden beam floors and roof were partially restored, and partially to be recovered.
The renovation project is already approved, and the building permit, which is valid until March 2021, is renewable.
At the end of the work House La Volta will have all the requirements to obtain the certificate of habitability.
Santu Lussurgiu is a fascinating historic village in Montiferru in central-western Sardinia, halfway between Oristano and Bosa, about 30 km to the beaches of the western coast of the island.
Energy class G. IPE> 175 kWh/m2 per year – data awaiting certification.
