Porto Corallo, a long beach interrupted only by the mouth of the Flumendosa

In Sarrabus, the region south-east of Sardinia, in an area where the mountains give way to the plane of the mouth of the river Flumendosa, the village of Villaputzu borders Muravera, San Vito, Tertenia, and Perdasdefogu.

Villaputzu and 10 km. Muravera: a long sand beach interrupted only by the mouth of Flumendosa, and many rock coves where you could find fragments of coral.

On the hill overlooking the marina (used to ship the argentiferous material of Monte Narba) there is the Puerto Coral Tower, built by the Spanish before 1599.
